About Abdulqadar
Abdulqadar’s career began in electrical engineering, but his entrepreneurial curiosity led him into a very different field — sustainable agriculture. For over 10 years, he has been at the forefront of Saudi Arabia’s green farming evolution, working with soil alternatives, water optimization, and organic material integration for scalable agriculture.
Today, he serves as the strategic lead behind ATC’s agriculture division, with a special focus on cocopeat solutions, sustainable substrate systems, and green project development. Abdulqadar not only introduced cocopeat to ATC’s product line — he turned it into a platform for growth, winning contracts with Aramco and other major industrial-agriculture crossover sectors.
His unique ability to blend engineering thinking with agricultural practicality allows him to develop solutions that are scalable, low-waste, and adaptable to Saudi Arabia’s environmental conditions. Whether consulting with industrial clients or sourcing natural materials, Abdulqadar brings integrity, long-view strategy, and grounded innovation to everything he touches.
Work Expereince
Abdulqadar’s background in electrical systems gave him early experience with structured problem-solving, systems design, and automation. But his passion led him to pivot — investing in sustainable agriculture practices and developing full-cycle programs from product to implementation.
At ATC, his responsibilities include:
- 🌱 Cocopeat Product Development & Expansion:
Leading the research, sourcing, and deployment of high-quality cocopeat substrates for local agriculture and green infrastructure projects. - 🌿 Sustainable Agriculture Solutions:
Advising clients on soil-less growing media, organic nutrient integration, water-saving techniques, and environment-compatible crop systems. - 🏗️ Strategic Project Acquisition (e.g. Aramco):
Spearheading partnerships with national-scale clients — demonstrating the role of sustainable agriculture in corporate ESG efforts and food security strategies. - 📦 Import, Testing & Blending Oversight:
Managing cocopeat imports and blends for moisture retention, pH levels, and consistency based on target crop and environment. - 📈 Sector Expansion & Vision Alignment:
Positioning ATC’s agriculture arm as a core contributor to Saudi Vision 2030’s environmental and food ecosystem goals.
